In my teaching, my main goals are to help students learn to analyze ideas and arguments more deeply, to learn to interpret others’ views charitably, and to develop their curiosity and a love of learning. I present a picture of philosophy as a global human phenomenon, with philosophical puzzles, questions, challenges, and issues arising across history, languages, and cultures. I have taught:

The Deviant Philosopher
I am one of the creators of The Deviant Philosopher (www.thedeviantphilosopher.org) – a website devoted to helping philosophy instructors by providing them with teaching resources that help to include non-canonical philosophy in ways that are authentic, responsible, meaningful to students, and non-superficial.
